There have been quite a few surprising new products these past few months, and this is yet another. The Fuji X-S10 is conceptually close to its "X-T" series cameras, yet seems to create a new parallel product stream. Over the years, Fuji has been more adventurous in this regard, with products in overlapping price and feature ranges, but finely differentiated target markets. This "X-S10" seems to be an "X-T" product bodied more like a more conventional mirror-less. Its controls might point at being a bit more at home for users of Canon or Sony or Olympus than the "X-T's".

"The Fuji X-S10 is slated to go on sale in November with a body-only retail price of US$999.95. There will also be two kit options: XF18-55mm F2.8-4 R lens kit for US$1,399.95 and XF16-80mm F4 R OIS WR lens kit for US$1,499.95."

Plainly consistent with Fuji's long-running practice of regularly moving top-shelf features into mid/low price products. Wonder if the rumored X-E4 will feature IBIS and/or the thin-line flippy LCD? Smart product development. Compare Nikon's Z updates that finally included twin card slots the originals should have included.
