highlights are blowing out from the sun. Not such a big deal on some of the background elements (try to keep your subject exposed correctly first and foremost) but in this case it IS effecting your subjects. consider under exposing a stop, or depending on what you are using for in camera metering try a different setting. still a cute photo.
