Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Amazon.ca: photography

These are all the photography book on amazon.

The OP doesnt really gives a **** when he has a question and the only straight answer you have to give is "You should read a book". Especially when its 600 pages and 1/2 of it is bull****

I've read 3 books last month from "recommendation" on this forum and 1 was actually half decent. Can i have my time back please.

HAHAH, Its a new trend. If you read a thread and you really have nothing NOTHING to say about it, just dump. You should read this book "Book name". I see this quite alot recently....

I have yet to read a book. I talk to old photographers, they have a lot of wisdom!

.... and they LOVE to share it. Seriously, I have never in my life met anyone who can out talk an old photographer. It's great.

Is this the start of a grass roots movement against literacy?
More likely a movement against recommending beginner books to intermediate or advanced photographers.

"Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson" is almost the only book I see recommended here. I have never read it, never even seen a copy in print, and yet I know the title & author... That's how much it gets recommended.

It might be good. I will never know, lol. I like my books to be a little more specific than that. It very may well be the perfect book for someone just starting out though. From reading reviews and what people here have said, I just think it's going to be way too basic for me to get anything out of it...

I don't know any old photographers, MissCream - so I read books and post on forums where people know more than me. Which forum depends on what I'm asking.

I've read plenty of books. I'm reading Bryan Peterson's "Understanding Exposure" 3rd edition currently and it's at least entertaining, as he is a very entertaining person.

If I were an old photographer I would be so lucky to have an interested ear as MissCream's :D

Understanding Exposure is an excellent book but not for anyone but a beginner. It isn't 600 pages though so I'm not sure which book has pissed him off so bad.

Pft if its book reading you want you should all go and read this :: Best book ever
