What does the book you mentioned earlier look like on an e-reader? I guess the portability could come in handy.

E-readers are great!
I've been using a Kindle from Amazon myself and it really does work far better than I ever thought; the e-ink is nothing like LCD screens and really is very similar to paper to look at and also how it reacts to lighting changes. You'll mostly not have any trouble with reflections (really strong light can cause some trouble) nor with eyestrain from looking at a bright screen - it really is just like looking at paper.

For pure text books its ideal as a lighter carrying option - it can fail a bit with images at present - but the viewing of books with text is just great.

Is this the start of a grass roots movement against literacy?

That comment is begging for some smart comeback about pictures being worth a thousand words or something, but then again, that would require me to be a bit more literate than I am. :) :p

Dear spammer,
After looking at the cover of your $6 e-book, I realize you just finished reading the $2.50 e-book "How to write an e-book, publish, and market it on a shoestring."

Wow. Were the satirical posts about a certain book that offensive to someone? I'm glad I don't force my beliefs on anyone and know what humor is.
