Well, at least I hope so. "UKA i Ås" is Norway's longest student festival, and happens every even years (2008, 2010, 2012). We're sharing this festival with another university, NTNU (a technical engineering uni in Trondheim). It's entirely based on volunteers to happen, about 50% of my uni's students do some form of work for this to be possible. It lasts around one month, with stuff happening every day. AWESOME in other words.
So, I thought I'd apply for a position as a photographer. The tasks are many, everything from portraits, concerts, just capturing people going at concerts. I'm sure you can imagine the different types of shots needed to cover the festival.
Portraits I have little to none experience with, but I'm sure I'd be able to get decent shots during this. The photographers would discuss and share opinions and ideas. It would be a very good learning experience.
