Finally managed to get a decent shot of a goal and another just missed (the photo not the goal)!

Missed the ball going in below and the next shot couldn’t see the ball. But still, most times there’s such a crowd in front of the goalie that all you see are feet.

It's a numbers game. Shoot enough and you will get a good shot or two.
For every good shot, I've got a LOT of bloopers, misses, and someone running in front of me, etc. etc.

Just like lacrosse, the darn ball is so small.
At least yours is orange and easy to see, vs. the light gray of high school boys lacrosse.

But man, those orange pads are so distracting to the eye.
Is that their school color, or a safety thing?

Neither school colors nor a safety thing. School colors were red and white. The goalie colors seem to be completely random (pads, shirts, helmets). Here is the goalie for my daughter’s team, the team colors are also red and white. I think in this case it was whatever would fit her because she’s really tall!

And this goalie’s team wears blue and white.
