going to Tatton Park soon, need advice.

hi me again.

i am in a little desperado like before only this time my computer is behaving itself and showing me the correct view count
anyway. Tatton Park is like a huge old house thing with loads of gardens and deer

that's what i'm up against, what general tips would you give for getting fantabulous photos here. my camera has only a 3x zoom and the macro is hilarious in it's uselessness, maybe because i haven't figured out it's focus point yet. but anyway i'm looking a close ups and landscape images here, based around the flowers not the visitors. i'm not a people person and hate people in my shots, probably one of my biggest downfalls.

i have photoshop CS5.1 so any chances of post processing are a yes

thanks for any help with this, i'm due to go there on the 19th or 26th of this month so no REAL rush, but posting the help request now allows me enough time to practice composure in my garden then.
oh i've ordered some photography books off amazon do i can expect them soonish.

Since the place seems to be in full sun, my first suggestion would be to go in the early morning or late afternoon so yo'll have better lighting. If its a super busy place with lots of patrons wandering arond, you may have to be patient so as not to get people in your photos. Looks like there is plenty there to shoot. If your macro function isn't up to par, {I'm assuming you have a point and shoot camera} try shots of the water in the fountain, shots of the building's unique architecture, get up close and personal with the statues. lol It looks like you have loads of possibilities there.
