Good Photography Laptop?

Hey, Y'all!

My old laptop died, which I can live with, honestly. I wanted to update anyway.
But now I need a new one, and I'm not quite sure where to start.

I am an amateur with photography, so I'm not looking for top of the line gear. I just need something that will allow me to do a good job whilst editing and such.
I will also be using my laptop often for gaming. I'd like to make sure that it can also handle that well.

My max budget is $950, though $600-$800 is preferable.

Any recommendations?

Without actually endorsing anything, Dell is offering a bunch of deals right now. They have a “gaming” laptop that, IIRC, fits in your budget.
