Good Reads for a BEGINNER

Hello Experts,
I'm all new for this world of photography and looking to setup a career, though I know that its going to be competitive and a great challenge to be part of this family.

I would prefer investing on knowledge prior to asking "Which camera to buy". So wanted to get your recommendation on which book I may buy first to understand and learn this skill appropriately...
