Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Just switched from Photobucket to Flickr. Lots of differences between the two, but the most noticeable is image quality. Photobucket makes it look like my screen has a thin film of vasiline in it whenever I'm looking at my pics. Flickr actually comes very close to the original IQ of my photos when I upload them.

Very happy with the switch (even though it was very recent), and recommend it to anyone still on Photobucket.

There are other perks as well, such as a seemingly bigger community of actual photographers, easier uploading and organizing etc...... but the IQ is the biggie for me.

Just thought id share.

I use both.

I much prefer the more professional look of Photobucket.

Flickr looks to me like a social networking site that was put together by some high school kid that got a C- on the project. :er:

Not all browsers are color aware, and other people looking at your images may be using old, antiquated, mal-adjusted displays so it makes little difference.

Can you generate codes for more than 1 image on flickr? I dont think so. If it can, I will switch.

KmH are you mad?
Schwetty - what do you mean by generate codes?

Though I will agree some parts of flickrs community side need a bit of improvement (thread tracking for a start)

also welcome to flickr - its a great place :) - now pay your darn annual subscription fee ;P

i can use photobucket to post like multiple images with BB codes. I dont have to paste it one by one.
