What's new

Got a new car so I shot some photos

I think they could use a tighter crop.Congrats on the new car

drop it + new shoes

haha Im waiting till spring. It will for sure be lower because this 4x4 stance doesnt work very well for me.

It seems the crop is what I have issues with. How much tighter would you go? Also, thank you! This is my first "nice" car.

I like 2 & 3 the most. #1 looks as if it was shot for a magazine with too much angle

3 is for my fav, i love the industrial zone you choose to shoot at, if you crop #3 i would leave as much of that industry zone in the background as possible

1.) Should have gotten a TDI.
2.) You ever do suspension work on a VW? PITA without all the special tools.
3.) I don't know much about car photography but your light looks harsh to me and in the third it's unnatural. Plus I'd crop out more background in the third one.

schwetty are you really that guy? I might have to take back what I said about your photos if you're driving around with a lowered ride and spinning rims or something.

TDIs spend more time in the shop than on the road.

Yes German cars are very special :)

I think he did a good job, I don't see a lot of reflections on the car specially on #3

Nice pictures but seriously lower it ASAP lol.

This is how I roll man.

1. Its a VR6, much more fun than a tdi.
2. NO, but it cant possibly be any worse than cutting off the entire rear suspension of a Honda Civic because its all fused together. Besides, the "special tool" is only like 20 bucks.
3. I dont disagree here. I was having a hard time getting the flash to spread the way I wanted without having the power cranked up. I think I could benefit from a second flash.
