Geotag your photos the moment the shutter release is pressed... This will allow your D90/D5000 to record your GPS coordinates to the EXIF data. Software like Picasa and iPhoto recognize this information and show you a map of where each photo was taken. Sites like Flickr, SmugMug and Picasaweb can also read this information and show you a map online.
