Edit: as many people prefer concrete questions: How about the sharpness of the photographs, are they sharp enough, could the sharpness be improved? Any suggestions concerning the composition? How about the black & white conversion, contrast, amount of details?
Feel free to add other points.

Those are both great shots. Love the contrast in the first one.

My only gripe w/ the first shot is that the shadows are all about the same shade. I'd like to see more variation.
