Grainy Photos - Need advice

MarkH, i would highly suggest picking up the book "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson. It is an easy read for someone who is new and he has a great way of explaining the basics.

Its really nice shots nonetheless, I hope the advice helped!

Thank You and yeh the advice has helped a lot :)

How did you guys get the photo info from those images?

Not sure if it's because I have Windows 7 or Photoshop or something but just right clicking the file then clicking properties shows a lot of info.

Righto I shall have a look at this, I brought a canon 450d for dummies book which is really good and written for beginners like me I just didn't have chance to read that before my trip to London but I shall have a look at the book you mentioned too thanks for the help.

Your camera will shoot in RAW in P mode, an automatic setting similar to the "green box", but with the benefits of using some of the settings you have programmed into it, such as ISO..

or you can always get neat image and if anything comes out noisy, you can render it and remove the noise to make it look something like this
