The grands were over and they did not want to do photos. I said we would do no posing. They could dance, jump, whatever. Just be kids. We went out to the woodpile and I used a higher shutter speed with high speed continuous. I did give some prompts like dance like a princess or look up to that tree.

To quote Forrest Gump "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get", and so it is with spontaneous kid shots. The great thing is, every now and then you get a winner! Great catch!

Thanks all! The kids had fun with the jumping and spinning. Now to come up with more fun stuff to shoot with them. I was thinking confetti or water balloons. I'd have to keep a safe distance with the water balloons. Open to suggestions!
