Bolted up the 70-200, and screwed on my 8-stop and CPL filters and gave it a go this morning. Lived in this area my entire life and never made it out here, so we played hooky from work today and drove out.

Now I really want to come for a sunrise...

I'm also annoyed i kept forgetting to close the viewfinder flapper, and had quite a bit of light leak on a few shots. But really happy with how well these worked with the stacked filters and 11am morning sun. Was shooting at ISO 50, f16-20, and around 8-13sec.

Really lovely images. I'd say you managed to do a good day's work!

around 8-13sec

water looks like cotton candy...

really a long time for such a high flow rate

I personally prefer to see more of the true character of the water revealed..your first BTS phone cap reveals a lot of the true nature of this awesome waterfall!

Wow, this looks like a wild and wooly place depending on water levels. Like Derrel above I lean more toward letting just a tad of water's character through. I also like to do a little split toning to put bring out the water color in the shadows. Considering the time of day these were shot, fantastic job.
