Great Horned Owl

There are a pair of great horned owls right near my Osprey spot. Last night the crows were going nuts chasing them around and by the time I got there it was too dark. Today I got there earlier. I spent a little over an hour chasing these guys around. The crows were merciless. Comments welcome

5 - Getting chased by crows. This shot is so freakin difficult, I consider it a work in progress, there are always so many branches in the way, I was happy to get the owl relatively sharp...

The owls probably make lunch of crow chicks, thus the animosity. Excellent shots.

I feel so lucky that I get to see them so often. I always felt bad in the mornings when the crows ganged up on them. At dusk, the owls don't take and crap and go after the crows pretty aggressively..
