Great White Egret

Pulled over to take these while on my way to work this morning. These were taken with the 55-200 4-5.6 handheld. I can't help but feel like they could have been much better with better glass and pointers from you guys. What do you guys think?

Nice captures - just goes to show that you have to keep your eyes peeled for any opportunity. I like the first one the best - sort of a nice portrait. The third one is a close second for me as I like that you got the reflection in the water.

I'd take #1 and crop it tighter, raise the brightness and contrast, and adjust for deeper blacks. Something like this, though I'm sure someone with real skills can do much better.
