I actually live just outside of Toronto in a city called Brampton. I'm 21 years old and I was really into video production for a while. But after a disasterous wedding video incident, photography started to seem more and more attractive. (No need to worry about post production and the entry cost is relatively much more affordable)

I found this site about a year agio and I periodically browsed discussions, but I couldn't really participate in discussions because all I had was a crummy HP digital camera.

But now that I just recently purchased a used Yashica AF-200, I'm ready to make the plunge into amateur photography and I can't think of a friendly more informative online community to be a part of.
