Grimm portrait

Took this a while back while fishing and liked how it turned out!

Is it you then? Is it a self?
Did you use fill flash? Or what makes the one eye sparkle? Pity that this sparkle is not repeated in the other eye - well, considerably less, the second eye looks quite dark.

"Grimm"? As in "Grimm Brothers", those that collected the fairy tales? Is that his name (your name)?

Looks like a true fisherman. I hope you don't mind but I had a little play with it, just trying to bring out the character. Maybe a little overboard, but it was a quick edit and it is just another idea.

Really good portrait it shows his character very well..I think it would have been improved with some fill flash you could maybe try using the shadow/highlights tool in photoshop to bring out some detail in his face!

Guess it's just me, but I actually liked the darker version that you posted better. Gave it some nice mood. Nice photo tho, either way!
