Grosbeak in the rain

This guy came to the feeder on a dull rainy day so I shot these through the window. I was not expecting much because of the dull light and the high ISO the camera went to, up to ISO 16000 which I think is the highest I have ever shot. They were very noisy as I expected. I am amazed at how well Topaz DeNoise did with these images. It at least saved them from being a total discard.

Not bad through a window ... though that last one has much artifacts.

What region are you in? I snagged one a week ago here in DC and haven't seen one since. I think it was migrating and just passing through.

Not seen a Rose breasted grosbeak yet this year but a pair of Baltimore oriels showed up today. Shot this through the patio door window (ISO1600).
