Wow... those horns couldn't be more perfect if they tried. All that's missing is the grill from a '73 Eldorado!

He is a nice specimen. You could definitely go all Boss Hog with those horns.

Nice eye and a cool shot.

But, when I look at this shot I want it to be landscape.
I know that the dominant subject is the oil pump which would push one to shoot this in portrait orientation.

But the "story" or "humor" of the photo is the bull.

The crop feels constrained to me when viewing and I wonder if landscape orientation would have given more room for the humor in the image to breath.

Just my gut reaction.

I have a landscape version also, I'll have to give it another look. It seemed the longhorn was small in the frame or it cropped the top of the oiljack. Thanks for the comment.

Don't be too bothered by my musings. Just trying to explain a feeling I get when I look at this image and wondering if I'm loopy.
