My main concern is her pronunciation of the acronym MWAC, which stands for Mom With A Camera, according to the New York Times. What MWAC stands for is not in question. But I have never heard it pronounced as a single-syllable word that sounds like "Mmmwack", as she says it, but rather as the two-syllable word pronounced as "emmmm-wak", with a single "M" sound at the start of the form forming the first syllable, and then a decidedly, clearly separated second syllable, te "wak" sound pronounced the way people pronounce the Westerrn Athletic Conference, AKA "whack" with the h letter eliminated... I dunno...not sure who was guiding this woman when she made these videos.Poor thing cannot even say her title right!!! I suppose she learned how to pronounce MWAC from another self-taught MWAC who had no mentor and no formal (or even informal!!!!) training.

Very funny.

At the very first place I taught photo we had what we called the JWCC (Jewish Wife Camera Club) and, sorry Derrel, we had no special way of saying it, we just said all the darn words.

And, yes, it was exactly what it sounds like. A bunch of jewish, married, stay at home women with nothing to do so they joined to learn photography. A few years later, a few of them were doing quite well in the business

From what I read. Her husband is a professional photographer and she runs several blogs. Hearing stories from her husband she started MWAC attack. I think she is very funny but there are people that think she is being rude to all the mothers out there. Nothing like a little controversy to make a blog famous.
