Very nice.

I was there in pre-photography days.
Then went west through Lao Cai (a true crap-hole then) and as far as Sa Pa.
Wanted to go to Dien Bien Phu but the roads were disgusting.

Wanted to go to Dien Bien Phu but the roads were disgusting.

It took 16 hours to drive from Ha Giang to Hanoi and its only 200 miles........yes the roads are terrible but what I got see when I was in Ha Giang was more than worth the drive to get there.
