Hanseatic City of Lübeck

Had the opportunity to pass through the Hanseatic city of Lübeck, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

Very nice shot. I was based close to Lubeck in the late '60's and recall touring one of the churches that was famous for the size and sound of it's pipe organ.

Churches they seem to have plenty of and it seems the Hansa cities have similar churches. In Turku Finland the main church has similar architecture as the Mariekirchen.

It is definitely a place I plan to visit and photograph again. This time around I was just passing through and only had one night to capture some shots.
