Happy old Jazz Babes

Every year in Oslo, Norway, we have The Oslo Jazz festival, and these old jazz babes have been going at it, spreading joy and jazz for decades now.

#1 would have been better shot vertically since there is really only one subject... but it is soft due to the slow shutter speed (motion blur). Faster shutter speed needed (or Flash)

#2 Horizontal is fine here, as the crowd adds context. But the Main subject (centered) is underexposed, and soft also. Again probably due to motion blur. Faster shutter speed needed (or Flash)

Unfortunately, missed focus and/or subject or camera motion shake.
shooting at 70 mm focal length you really need to shoot at least at 1/150 to eliminate camera shake.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm well aware of the quality of these photo's not being top-notched, but I'm so in love with the subject matter that I just couldn't resist posting them. This wasn't a "planned" photo-shoot either and the weather was terrible for light....but still....shows the spirit
