one time i saw a hawk or falcon drop down on a smaller bird (possibly a blackbird or crow) and fly off with it.... crazy

oh thats wicked. I only saw them with the leather laces on their legs. Pretty cool that you got them in the wild there.
Judging by the size its probably a female, she looks huge. The tail in the second looks great :)

Yikes! That would scare the crap out of me. Very cool, though.
Last year, I came home to an owl in my house. Even since then, birds kinda freak me out. Weird, I know.

I wish they would eat Beach Chickens! I've never seen her take one, just doves and rabbits.
