You can look ahead to a day when you will not wear braces. I have upper and lower plates. I will never see the day when I don't need them.

Yeah, they hurt for the first day or so, then you get used to them (repeated each time they tighten them). The end result will be worth it though, so hang in there.

you'll get used to them...the first time hurts the most. when you get them adjusted they'll just hurt for like a day or two then you'll be fine. my teeth moved like crazy, so mine werent bad.
