Wow! That first one is possibly one of the best feline portraits I've ever seen! Could I suggest a crop right around the bottom of the main? IMO, there's just a bit too much unnecessary detail near the bottom.

Im just getting used to it, big, slow, heavy sucker.

But so far so good, there was a hawk out back today, but he wasn't cooperating.

Yeah, shot #1, lovely! OOF foreground bokeh stuff is usually not looked on favorably among westerners...and in this case, it's confusing and distracting,and I kind of agree with Tirediron, that cropping some of the bottom off of #1 would strengthen an already VERY strong feline portrait. The upper part of the frame is really nice,and is what loaded first and I was like "Whoa!" ! The B&W shot has a sort of Tri-X feeling to it. Pretty good shooting!

I'll agree to the big and slow but trust me, it is not even close to being a heavy lens. I think it is the lightest lens i own lol

I've never shot a lens this large before, and while it's not really that much heavier than my 70-200 it's still taking some getting used to.

The brand new for 2014 crop tool in the Adobe lineup is really somethin! It's sooo much better than the old crop tool!
