Head Wind

So, I'm out shooting Kite Surfers at shutter speeds ranging from 1/6 to 1/20th of a second when along comes this gull, so I think..hey, why not? (About a 25 knot headwind)

IMO, the idea and execution are quite nice and certainly disproves the axiom that sharpness always counts.
I do think that the bird being dead center takes away from the impact some.

Not dead center at all but may need some adjusting.

I really like this. I have been experimenting with slow shutter speeds and blurs. So much fun.
