TPF Noob!
Hello from Ohio. I've been looking for something that I can only describe (Mod: move if need be). My dad enlisted in the Army in 1943 and served with the Big Red 1 in WWII. While in England he had some photos of himself made with frames and had sent home. After he died I kept the photos. The interesting part is the glass wasn't glass but some sort of plastic like material that made him look at you no matter how you looked at the photo. I remember getting similar objects in Cracker Jack boxes but never knew it could be used in photo frames. The material has deteriorated to where it's almost melted with age. I'm looking for a name of the results of the material to see if it can be purchased and replaced. I'm hoping another oldster like me knows what I'm talking about. Thank you all.
