Hello from Colorado

Hi! I've been lurking around the forums for about a year and decided I should probably make an account

I live in Colorado, so most of my photography up to this point has been outdoor/wildlife as a hobbyist. Oh, and of course our two dogs: Buster the Corgi and Frisco the Mutt. However, I was recently laid off from my healthcare job just a couple weeks before I turned 30, so I'm going through a bit of a "what am I doing with my life and what would make me happy" phase. I've been considering trying to start a photography business, but with such a saturated market and most of my experience being with... non-people... I'm a little hesitant. My cousin is getting married in a few weeks and they're on a tight budget, so I volunteered to photograph their wedding. I suppose after trying a full event I'll have a better feel for whether it's something I could do well or enjoy. That was a bit long-winded, but hello! I look forward to getting to know you all better.
