Hello from ibclc2

Took a quick overview of this web site and I really like it.
I look forward to coming here often.

My interest in photography is a very personal thing - it's a
connection to my father who passed away two years ago
at the age of 92, and who loved technology and gadgets. He loved his
Minolta SR-101 and loved taking photos of family. Maybe it's
a genetic thing - who knows - but it's definitely a feeling of
connectedness (is that a word?) to my father when I pick
up the camera.

I am a believer in Einstein's famous quote: "Make everything as
simple as possible, but not simpler." So I am looking to get
the most out of a real photography hobby, with minimal
equipment. In fact, I've been looking for resources on people
who take great pictures using only a point and shoot (okay,
maybe an expensive, advanced point and shoot). If anyone
knows of web sites or sources on that, please post them!
