Hello from Malawi, Africa

Hi I am a Zimbabwean living in Malawi! (any other zimbos or Africans on the forum please shout!) I am new on the forum, but I can see its really active and full of great advice, I am excited & looking forward to taking my photography to the next level.

I recently invested in a Canon 1000d/Rebel XS with the kit lens and Photoshop CS4. I also bought 2 books - 'Understanding Exposure' and 'Canon 1000d for Dummies'. I have to admit I am feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the new information I have to take in.
