Hello from the Netherlands

Hello there all,

I am Francis, AKA FranDaMan.
I am 36, living with my wife and 2 daughters in the east of the Netherlands.
ALways had a thing with fotography. Did a lot of point and shoot as a kid and bought myself a Minolta Dynax 2X when I was 16.

Had that thing for years, but didn't use it much as I got older. When we went digital it was all point and clicks, the Sony H2 being the closest thing to DSLR.

But this year we finally decided to get a DSLR. THrough a friend that works for Canon we got a Canon 550D body and one of my coworkers had a decent 75-300mm for sale. We used that for everything for the past 3 months.....indoor, outdoor, portrait, architecture. You get really creative :lmao:

But today we went out and got a new baby.....the 17-85mm IS.

Hoping to share some knowledge, but gain so much more.
