How in the....pic number two is crazy...i've never seen a shot like that, briliant.

Stevo, #2 was a fluke. I went out one day and I just took as many pictures of the seagulls as I could, tossing shelled peanuts into the air to get them to fly around and then take the best pictures I could. Out of 200 pictures, a few were descent. :0). I would have had better ratio's but my camera is slow to focus and take the picture, I htink its a 2 second lag or so, so by the time I focused on the gull, it flew out of the plane of focus.

It all depends on what the contest theme is. Without knowing I really like the fox but the close up of the red squirrel has a fantastic quizzical impression!

Theres no theme for the contest. *wonders why hes not getting emails saying this forum is being replied to, odd*. Its just got different catagories, like scenery, wildlife, photoshop, etc. So I presume any wildlife is good to go. :0) Im leaning towards #2, and thinking about cropping alot of the top off, leaving some of the branches there.

Make sure you post the post - crop vs original. Could be a huge difference...
