Help..my 50mm 1.8D lens

o well, just a thought. have you had anyone look at it? theres a place in houston i used to use, and they looked at my stuff for free . . . maybe theres someone who will look at it for free?

I just sent this link along with an email to Nikon.com to see what they have to say to help me out here. I am going to take my lens along with my other lenses and my camera to a camera shop in Baton Rouge next weekend to make sure everything checks out with them just in case.

Have you had any luck with this? I'm thinking about asking Santa for the lens for Xmas. What's that about locking it at f/22?
