Help- Yongnuo 560ii and triggers

I have a canon 45od. and use a yongnuo 560ii with the appropriate triggers for off camera flash, they work when hand held, the green lights on the triggers work simultaneously and when hand held the flash fires, however when I put them on a stand with bracket the flash does not fire , the trigger lights still light up, and the flash works on the pilot......so frustrated ..

Be sure that neither the pins on the trigger foot nor those on the the flash foot are somehow touching any metal on the stand/bracket/holder. If they touch, try covering the metal with tape, or find another way to mount them to the stands.

Thanks Im sure its a connection issue as when the tightening screw is lossened which holds trigger to flash when off the stand they all work together, I shall try this, many thanks fenella
