They are fairly plentiful here but no one ever sees them because they don't know where to look for em and they are tiny. They are usually found in wooded areas and down low ( roughly from the nose down ), in my experience.
They are extremely hard to spot because they are so small and you'll walk right thru them, destroying their webs, if you don't know what you're looking for. I'm betting you have them in your part of the country.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to start watching out for them. The only spiders I've seen around here are black and/or brown. Oh yeah, a few green ones here and there to. I don't think I've ever seen one that was predominately blue though.

Let me clarify for the masses. I am not Gipsons father and he is not my son.
But he needs schooling and I cannot afford that. Is anyone here willing to adopt Gipson?
I need lenses, and printers and camera bodies. He deserves a better life than I can give him.
