Just a quick intro -- yet another noob to the DSLR world, tho I've had some nice P&S cameras - most recently a Panasonic TZ1. I lost it not long ago, so thought it would be a good time to finally step up to a dlsr. Just got an ancient, but well cared-for Pentax *istD, and love it! That camera led me to the Pentax forums, and those forums led me here! Looks like a great place to learn, and hopefully after awhile, I can contribute something to the newbs even newer than me
