TPF Noob!
I was just doing some on line research for a camera when I came across what looks like a great forum. I am by no means a professional or even a good amateur but was hoping to get some advice.
Just lost my Sony DSC-T1 (don't laugh) and am looking for an equally cool looking camera (I mean super small) but preferably that would take half decent pictures (DSC T1 was pretty bad - lots of red eyes + very weak flash - amongst other things). I am not expecting miracles from such a gadgety camera but this was definitely BAD (esp for $500!).
Any thoughts anyone on DSCT5, T7, T9 or M1 ??
"Sony" suits me better because of Memory chip going straight into my Sony TV and computer (that's how they get you).

oh and I used to own a Canon F1 a long time ago - if this is a redeeming feature (oh well, just gave away my age
