Hi,

Figured I'd post this here instead of the new member section. Figured I'm better off jumping straight into feedback.

I'm by no means a professional, I don't understand 99% of the terminology. But more importantly, I do enjoy photography & am willing to learn.

I only have a compact digital camera at the moment (bought it recently) as I am traveling in November and wanted another camera to take with me. Hopefully I'll be good enough for an SLR when i return.

I'm playing with the manual settings a bit, but not too much - Need to work out when I should change them!

Actually if you did post in the Beginners Forum you would immediately get C&C if you have a specific question(s).

You use manual setting when you need to.
These have good exposure.

Composition is something you should concentrate on more than camera settings.
