Hey, I'm Callie, and I love photography. I'm getting ready to go to an art college and I hope to one day be a professional concert photographer. Music is my number one passion in life, so I want my career to be focused on that. Anyways, I haven't been shooting for that long. I think I got my first point and shoot camera in 7th grade and didnt get my canon rebel until this year. So yeah I just learned how to use manual this summer. I hope to get some good advice from this forum =]

'Professional concert photographer' is a pretty narrow niche. I'd guess that most photographers who are shooting concerts, also shoot many, many other things. Most of them are probably 'news' photographers. Maybe a fun job, but from what I've heard, it's a hard go to make a living doing that.
