Last night I was running out of light and really wanted this Great Blue Heron Shot. I almost never go above 800 because I hate graininess, but I decided to push it up. I ended up with this shot at 1600. Then I saw this Great Egret and it was almost dark I pushed to 2000 but sorta like the dark grain effect and almost devilish background. I thought a few people might be interested to see what happens at higher ISO since so many people debate "newer cameras" here. Oh well let me know what you think...

I hate when that happens. I always encounter wildlife after dusk when the light is just horrible. I can still appreciate both shots though! To me, any photo of a wild animal is an awesome moment captured.
