High on the hill...

couple of snaps from an impromptu drive up the hills with my family. Crit and any suggestions for more powerful processing? or do they not need it? The close up of the girl in the yellow top isn't bang on crisp but I think it still works? Thanks!

On the close-up, I would clone that "grazing buffalo" in the upper right hand corner down, so it looks more yellow, and bring the face a bit darker, and lower the brightness of the face side, and make things there a wee bit more-contrasty, so that the highlighted hair blowing in the wind looks more-visible. On the other shot, I would leave it pretty much as-is.

Lovely little girl.
The left one has some promise but I think the right one is just defeated by the bright sun.

Noe that there are some focus problems on the left one (hair in focus, eyes out) so you may want to reshoot it.
