Hijack THIS!

actually, i started this out of order. let me back up a bit and start over:

It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of sweet Karalee;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.

I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea;
But we loved with a love that was more than love-
I and my sweet Karalee;
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
Coveted her and me.

Aint it funny how other people can pinopint your exact emotions sometimes.

Luminosity said:
You made me , officially, put my hands to my face and GIGGLE for a minute or so !! :lol: :D

gets a little sad, but bear with me til the end:

And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful sweet karalee;
So that her highborn kinsman came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulcher
In this kingdom by the sea.

The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
Went envying her and me-
Yes!- that was the reason
(as all men know, In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my sweet karalee.

But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we-
Of many far wiser than we-
And neither the angels in heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful sweet karalee.

But Sam turned to Bywater, and so came back up the Hill, as day was
ending once more. And he went on, and there was yellow light, and fire
within; and the evening meal was ready, and he was expected. And Rose drew
him in, and set him in his chair, and put little Elanor upon his lap.
He drew a deep breath. 'Well, I'm back,' he said.

For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful sweet karalee;
And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful sweet karalee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling, my darling, my life and my bride,
In the sepulcher there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea.

p.s. it is a bit melancholy by the end, but the poem is one of my favorites- Annabelle Lee. hope the part about dying didn't freak you out, luv- remember, the message here is that their love was so strong, she never could really die...
