You did well.
If I were you, knowing Amanda's new Assignment of the Week over in the Photo Themes, I would probably take this one and test it for each and every post processing possibility there is. To me this just advertises itself for some "play"... but that might be just me, who I really like to "play" with my photos (and the very limited post processing software that I have got) every now and again.
