The rainbow was a bit of surprise as it was clear morning. I didn't realise that my D10 battery was low and died on this shoot. and my spare was at home. oh well!

That's lucky you got the shots before your battery died. I like the sephia like color to your clouds. It gives a nice mood against the rainbow.

Absolutely gorgeous colors and reflections. Not sure if I care for the marina compositions though. (I figure, hey, you're vonnagy, I'm allowed )

That said, I've found I'm able to squeeze out quite a few shots after a battery is dead by letting it sit for a few minutes. After this initial rest, simply take a shot and immediately turn it off. I was able to get about 20 more shots from a battery that refused to do anything before that.
