Hispters are so into Holga products that I wanted to see what the fuss is about. I ordered the Nikon mount Holga lens from BHPHOTO, 24.99, free shipping.

Step back 70-200 Nikkor, my Nikon body now appears HIP! The new tiny lens has given it an unusual peculiarity:

The lens looks so "cool", so plasticky...

The lens was delivered in an "I love 'shrooms" style box, yet it passed a QA check tougher than Sigma could ever employ.

NO.. you are going to the DARK SIDE! Arrgghh! :lmao:

Interesting. Post pics after you try it out lol.

Well on the lens there are pics that show a portrait, a landscape, etc and i think that may be the focus. The camera shows F stop "zero". I wonder if i'm supposed to set something up because my first pic is horrid. How do the hipsters get the cool shots? Help!?

KmH would suggest I read the manual, and one came with it. This is the 1st pic, unacceptable. Time out I'm going to read........

I'm confused, Holga Suggestion 8(d) states: "ALWAYS try to shoot a picture in a direction with the sun or light source behind the camera"!?

You get more cute "Flare" that way, darling! ;) Gotta have "Flair" to be a hipster! :lmao:

Ok, I've discovered it can be a little soft and has some "very very slight and unpredictable" vignetting under bright studio lighting
