Hey guys a couple years ago I bought two sets of photogenic studio lights w/ power packs at a local photographers getting out of the business auction. Anyway I'm finally getting going with setting up a home studio in the garage with a set of the lights. My question is have any of you guys experimented with using bed sheets as solid color BG's? Is this a good Idea for the bugdeted shooter untill I can get some quality backdrops?

P.S. i'm interested in parting with one set of the lights if anyone is interested PM me or email me at [email protected] for the specs (if it's ok to hawk stuff in this thread).

I've used bed sheets quite a bit. It's hard to find fabric that is wider than 60" without a seam...except for bedding.

Heck, I work for an industrial fabric company and the only fabric that we carry (or can get easily) that is wider than 61.25", isn't great for photography.
